Robert Haughton
President
Rob Haughton plays a vital role in managing a vast real estate portfolio consisting of over 60 million square feet and over 193 million acres of land for a U.S.government agency. To put this in perspective, the state of Texas is 170 million acres. Rob is a member of the Class of 1981, and an avid golfer who enjoys traveling.
Orlando Gordon
Vice-President
Mr. Orlando Gordon graduated from St. George’s College in 1997 and finished sixth form in 1999. He is a network engineer motivated by a profound interest in technology and analytical thinking. He is a proud father of four and a passionate fan of soccer and basketball.
Rohan Jones
Recording Secretary
Rohan is a team oriented Manufacturing Test Process Engineer with extensive experience in design, development, implementation, and support of high end computer systems’ manufacturing test process.
Patrick Williams
Director-at-Large
Patrick Williams rejoins the Board after previously serving as the founding President from 2017–2021. He is a Registered Architect with expertise in the design and construction of federal government facilities. He graduated from STGC in 1981 and spent two more years there in Sixth Form. While at STGC, he was in the Cadet Unit, the Key Club, and on the 1981 Lance staff. He was also a Prefect while in Sixth Form.
Michael Levy
Immediate Past President
Michael is a Strategic Labor and Employment Attorney and leader specializing in administrative litigation and collective bargaining negotiation formerly within the public sector in the District of Columbia and now with WMATA. Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
the mission of our dc chapter
Inspired by the dictum ad majorem Dei gloriam (“to the greater glory of God”) we seek to:
• Promote the academic and educational achievements and interests of STGC, its alumni (Georgians) throughout Jamaica and the Washington DC Metro Region
• Uphold and perpetuate the educational values, principles, and traditions of STGC
• Engage in fundraising activities to assist students, promote scholarly achievements, provide scholarships for students engaged in academic pursuits overseas and Jamaica
• Promote fellowship and camaraderie with and among fellow Georgians, our families, and friends and other alumni of Jamaican high schools
• Cultivate where possible, alliance and scholarships that will ensure STGC prepares scholars who are ready to meet the challenges of the 21st Century
• Engage in activities which are not inconsistent with Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code and applicable state laws.
DC Chapter History
St. George’s College Old Boys’ Association of the District of Columbia, Inc. (STGCOBADC) was established in the DC metropolitan area in 2017 to bring together and foster fellowship and camaraderie among all past students and their families; and to unite us in efforts to ensure that our alma mater, St. George’s College, a Jamaican Jesuit high school institution founded in 1850, continues to provide the rounded quality education we were privileged to receive, and in keeping with the school motto – “Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam – To The Greater Glory of God”.
STGCOBADC is a registered 501. (c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization with the United States Internal Revenue Service.
